“I don't often leave reviews, but the kind folks at Cass Trading Co saved my ski trip. They got me in a canceled room on short notice, and positioned us to go to the Snowshoe resort (9 mi away) despite the storm. Food and lodging was excellent, but the service and location will bring me back here - hopefully soon! Thanks CTC!”

— Scott Duppstadt“Conveniently located next to the Cass scenic railroad. I liked the location and booked a motel room to stay at, just over $100 for a night. Check-in was done downstairs and easy enough, the area is quiet, feels safe, and the downstairs store/eating area looks good. The room itself left much to be desired. I came during fall, so all the stinkbugs in the world were looking for light and warmth inside. They seemed to be entering through the ceiling trim, or the vents; there were at least 15 when I entered the room. AC seemed to be inoperable, there was a dusty box fan left in the room, most likely because the AC wasn't working. Vents were dusty, bathroom had more stinkbugs in it, and the bed sheets were dirty with some visible crusty stains. I got rid of all the stinkbugs in the room, but after a few minutes more would show up. Since I was only staying the night, I didn't mind too much. Fortunately, they're a harmless little insect, but a nuisance nonetheless. Especially, since one had crawled onto a food tray I was eating from. Overall, it did the job. However, I cannot say it was satisfactory. Perhaps, your experience may differ.”
— Ryan De La Luz“We didn't stay in the hotel. We just ate. On second thought we didn't eat. There were two dogs there which I didn't have a real problem with that. But the grill was awful and did scrape it before doing our food. My wife had three pancakes that and were soaked and grease. Her first bite had a hair in it so she didn't eat. I had an omelette that looked like it exploded on the plate. I ate about half over it while one of the dogs came over and sat next to me at bumped. My leg begging for a bite. We paid and left without finishing.”
